I think they are. It is this ecoglobe thing that J-Cat's friend gave us. It's a sealed glass globe with those krill guys, a few snails, some algae, and some pebbles, and it's a completely self-sustaining ecosystem. Kinda cool, but we didn't know what to really do with it other than put it on the shelf and ignore it. Then one day we put it on the windowsill to let the algae get some sun, and it was like the most fascinating thing Opaw has ever seen. Ever.
Ooops, SHE! Sorry bout that! Sea Monkeys, how fun!!! We have a kit to "grow" some but my kids are lukewarm. I'm pretty sure my kitties would enjoy watching them too, if that's all they did. Thanks for the link!

She really was! She just kept blinking her eyes and wouldn't turn away. We didn't even realize how good a toy that thing would be!
